After four wonderful weekends over a six-month series, Carolina Center for EFT would like to thank all of our talented participants and gifted assistants for their involvement in our most recent round of Core Skills training. Core Skills is an in-depth and impactful opportunity to deepen your understanding of the EFT model and provide more effective interventions with your couples. We simply would not have had as positive of an experience without the dedication of our CCEFT community, and we are already looking forward to the next round of this advanced training. Here are a few brief reflections from the trainings:
“What a wonderful enriching journey! I am so grateful to have worked with Lorrie. I appreciate how closely we were support all along the way.”
– Sarah Faircloth, LPCA, from Charlotte, NC”“A word of deep gratitude for the Core Skills experience. There is no question in my mind that I am a better therapist now than I was before this training. I have the tapes to prove it! My growth is due in large part to the kindness and generosity of spirit that you bring to the training atmosphere. You made it a safe place for me to be vulnerable, imperfect and open. In addition, the atmosphere was one that helped me to connect with other clinicians and develop friendships that I hope to maintain for the rest of my life.”
– Ned Martin, LPC, Waynesville, NC“Core Skills with Lorrie continues to be an exceptional experience. Lorrie is a highly gifted EFT practitioner and trainer, and she helps us learn the material while also creating an environment of support and connection with the group. She truly lives EFT. Core Skills springboards form the overview of the Externship, and makes each step of the process more concrete. I can’t imagine practicing EFT without Core Skills, and after each weekend I leave feeling more knowledgeable in the process. Lorrie has made the trainings highly organized, with all the material being sent out in advance, everything beginning and ending in a timely way, and by having talented EFT helpers in the small groups. This experience has been the most formative for me as a counselor since graduate school.”
– Wesley Little, LPCA, from Charlotte, NC“With each session, the EFT steps and interventions became more and more clear. Lorrie truly provides a felt sense of the EFT model, and provided us all with invaluable attachment lenses to see our couples through.”
– Jordan Austin, LPCA, from Greensboro, NC
