What: Lorrie will work with the couple to lay the groundwork for them to examine together their wound of broken trust. Through this process, she will demonstrate how to create the safety needed to explore the blocks to repairing shattered bonds and to begin the path towards healing conversations.
Therapists who work from an Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) perspective can expect to see Lorrie foreshadow the attachment injury resolution model (AIRM) in stage 1 of the EFT process. Clinicians can also expect to see how the EFT model combines practical clinical skills at the intersection of race, culture, gender, and power.
Join us as we learn more about the EFT model – the most researched, effective approach to treating couples’ distress!

Equity Rate
Diversity/Inclusion scholarships are being offered as a statement that BLACK LIVES MATTER! We want to address the unconscious, systemic racism that has resulted in a lack of diversity in EFT training. The equity rate is designed to encourage participation from people from underrepresented groups, whose presence will enrich the training experience for everyone. If you can benefit from the equity rate pricing and identify with one of the following categories, please come and participate in the upcoming EFT training course. The categories are: 1) Those who identify with an underrepresented group such as, but not excluded to, Black Therapists and 2) those who work with historically marginalized communities.
The equity pricing is available based on your need, and an application is not required. You are invited to choose the rate/quantity that best meets your need. Please indicate what multiple of $5 you can pay. For example, if you can pay only $5, then indicate a quantity of 1; if you can pay $20, then indicate a quantity of 4 (X $5), etc. If you have any questions, please contact Debra Wright or Steve Wampler.
This training event does not qualify for NBCC credit.
